To celebrate this long-awaited 2021 new year, the Really Local Harvest and the Moncton Food Depot Alimentaire have decided to join their forces in order to expand the access of local products to people and families in need of Greater Moncton.

A fridge was installed at the Market last week-end in order to collect local food products and items in good conditions that could have a second life and help others!

My Really Local Fridge initiative will be launched Friday January 15, 2021 and visitors as well as members of the Dieppe Market community are invited to make a donation.

The donations will be collected every week all year long at the Friday Express Market from 4 to 6pm and at the Saturday Dieppe Market from 8am to 1pm. The Food Depot Alimentaire (FDA) will then pick them up every Monday and redistribute them to their partner organizations including the food banks, the popular community soup kitchen and other support organizations in New Brunswick.

A project that, we hope, will place 2021 as a year marked by generosity, sharing and solidarity while preventing food waste and developing eco-responsible habits within the community.

We look forward to developing this new initiative by your side,

Thank you for your support!

See you Friday!
